Terms of Use

Hi! We’re Wordbricks, Inc. We build vly to help you create with voice and connect with AI characters. By using our software, you agree to these terms.

We’ve tried to write these as clearly as possible. They cover how you can use vly, what we expect from you, and how we handle things like voice cloning, AI characters, and payments. They go alongside our Privacy Policy.

To use vly, you may need an account. The basics:

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 19 years old.
• Security:Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
• Honesty: Please provide accurate information when you sign up.
• Help: If you suspect unauthorized access, email us at support@tamago.chat.

We want you to use vly to express yourself, build characters, and have great conversations. To keep everyone safe, please don’t:

• Break the law— use vly only for legal purposes.
• Impersonate real people— don’t clone a voice you don’t own without explicit, documented permission from the speaker, and don’t create AI characters that pretend to be real, identifiable people (public figures, celebrities, politicians, deceased persons, private individuals) without their consent. Generating sexual content of identifiable real people is never allowed.
• Harm minors— generating sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited and reported to authorities.
• Cause harm— don’t use vly to harass, defraud, deceive, run voice phishing, interfere with elections, or promote violence or self-harm.
• Attack our systems— don’t try to extract our model weights, system prompts, or training data, and don’t circumvent safety filters, rate limits, or paywalls.
• Steal our work— you can’t reverse-engineer our software or use it to build a competing AI model.
• Scrape us— automated scraping of our services isn’t allowed.

We may remove voices, delete characters, suspend accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement when we receive a credible report that something here was broken.

vly is powerful, but like all AI, it isn’t perfect. Three things to keep in mind:

• Voice cloning:When you upload audio to clone a voice, you’re telling us that it’s your own voice, or that you have explicit, documented permission from the speaker. We’ll ask you to affirm this before each upload.
• AI characters:Characters on vly are fictional personas powered by language models. Conversations with them aren’t real conversations with real people — they’re generative output, and they can be wrong, inconsistent, or surprising. Don’t rely on a character for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If you’re going through a crisis, please reach out to a qualified human, not a chatbot.
• Generated content:Always review what’s generated — voices, images, text — before using it for anything that matters.

You retain ownership of what you upload (“User Content”) and what vly generates from your input (“Generated Content”). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate vly. We don’t use your User Content or Generated Content to train third-party foundation models without your explicit opt-in.

If you make a character listed, other vly users can find and chat with it. You’re responsible for the system prompt, traits, and behavior of any character you publish, and that character is held to the same rules you are.

If you buy a paid plan or credit pack, you agree to the prices listed at /pricing. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel through the billing portal. Top-up credits are non-refundable once granted, except where applicable consumer-protection law says otherwise. We may adjust pricing with notice; existing prepaid credits are honored at the rate in effect when you bought them.

The legal fine print:

We provide vly “as is”. This means we don’t make specific promises about its reliability or suitability for your particular needs.

Limitation of Liability:To the maximum extent allowed by law, Wordbricks, Inc isn’t liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss that might result from using vly. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 50.

If you downloaded vly from the Apple App Store, the following terms apply between you and Apple, in addition to everything above. Apple required us to put them in.

• These terms are between you and Wordbricks, Inc. Apple is not a party and is not responsible for vly or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for vly.
• If vly fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for vly.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party have relating to vly, including product-liability, consumer-protection, or intellectual-property claims.
• Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. By accepting these terms, you agree that Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist-supporting” country, and you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

• Changes:We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know by email or in-product notice. Continued use means you agree to the new terms.
• Termination: You can stop using vly anytime. We may also suspend or close access if these terms are violated. After your account closes, we delete your User Content within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
• Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in California.
